My HT-5 didn't react well with my bad monkey which is Tubescreamer based, compared to every other valve amp it was used with it didn't seem to drive or boost it at all even when setting the drive and level very high, compared to the night and day difference when boosting the laney Iommi I had the Valveking and 6505+ 112 which would be pushed much harder.

Very under rated in the cheap pedal category. Looking for something in the $50 or less range. I want an od for semi clean work ( think Pink Floyd "Shine On") as well as something to use to push my Sovtek Big Muff over the edge for solos and such.

I'm also open in before Bad Monkey. I have an 808. I think it Wampler did a video explaining that ALL Ibanez Tube Screamers are the same even though the internet claims otherwise. Get an inexpensive one that's built well.
